My primary reason for buying this product was to maintain my hair color longer. Due to a severe allergy to peroxide, I can only use Clairol's Beautiful Browns to color my gray, and by the end of four weeks with other shampoos, you could really see the color had faded. Now after using Color Keeper, I noted a marked difference after four weeks; my hairdresser was amazed at the amount of color my hair had retained.
I wish the shampoo was a little thicker, but on the plus side, the smell is light and not obnoxious, it's a natural product, AND IT WORKS (at least it did for me). I plan to continue to use this shampoo.

It's difficult to find a shampoo without SLS, even in color-care shampoos, so I was excited to try this (I also try to use "natural" products). Unfortunately, after just a few uses, I noticed that the color seemed stripped right out of my hair. What a waste of money on shampoo AND expensive color! I did like the smell, however, and the low lather was not a problem. Guess I'll donate the remaining product to a friend.Customer Review: Not for me!

Weirdly thick,tangled, frizzy and dry is all this did to my hair. Even using gobs of the BB's Color Keeper conditioner didn't help. I generally like Burt's Bees products, but this was not for me. It was low lather, and had a faint, but pleasant scent. I ended up using it on my dogs, since I figured it won't hurt them, and I hate to waste something!Customer Review: Well, I loved it!

I agree with the "low lather". You seem to need more than regular shampoo to saturate your hair. However, using this AND the conditioner made my hair sooo soft and smooth. I absolutely love how it smells. I've actually gotten compliments from people in public asking what I shampooed with. It's great!Customer Review: Not what i expected

The smell is nice but i feel my hair more dry .And your scalp dosent feel clean, i was expecting more results from it.
