Customer Review: pretty, but...not a touch lamp

I'm very disappointed. Although it is a pretty lamp, and I do like the style overall, I was expecting a touch-on touch-off lamp after reading the other reviews. It is not a touch lamp and in fact has a little knob just below where the glass sits in the base. The style is nice, quality is nice, lighting is nice, but I really, really wanted a touch lamp. I may or may not return it, depending on how much the shipping will cost or whether the local Target will give me a credit for return so I don't have to pay shipping.
If you don't care whether it's a touch lamp, I recommend it, it's very pretty, and would go ahead with a 5 star rating. If you're specifically looking for a touch lamp, do not buy this one.
added on 6.14.2010 - pulled out the shipping paper and it wasn't even my name on it, and it also states the lamp is a touch lamp. Now wondering if there was some order mixup and the lady whose name is on the shipping paper got my touch lamp. Also, although I have a cfl bulb in the lamp I did try it with a regular 60 watt bulb and it still did not function as a touch lamp. Love the style and look of it but still disappointed it isn't a touch lamp and am going to call Target this weekend to see if they will get the touch version in stock and exchange it for me. I don't want to pay the shipping expense to return it, especially being that I pay to be a Prime member.
