I purchased this primarily to use for my bunn coffee maker. Using this pitcher is easy and it does make a difference in how my coffee tastes. I started filling my water bottles with the water and it tastes better than what comes out of my filtered water in the refrigerator. This is a great pitcher. Better then the round style, its narrow and takes up very little space. I like that it has a little flip door at the pouring end as well as a flip up refilling section. My only complaint is that it is a little bit too tall and I have to lift the shelf up to fit it.Customer Review: Basic pitcher with a replaceable filter.

It's hard to move it when you fill it at first or it will leak all over. You have to change the filter every six months, which goes by before you know it. I noticed sometimes there are little black rocks floating around which disturbed me. Otherwise for the price it's a basic pitcher.Customer Review: Weak

Overall an OK product. But the little lift-up lid broke off despite my caring for the item. And the filter lets too much of that black filtration material through.
EDIT: Got tired of both issues mentioned above so I purchased the Pur equivalent and I couldn't be happier.

This is a great product; it saves LOTS of money. The water tastes exactly the same as the 'purified' bottled water we used to buy. We have Great Lakes city water that has an awful aftertaste; this completely takes that away. This pitcher is the perfect size for our family of 3.
