At first sight it looks like a great filter but then the problems start. first they left a hole on the top of the filling container so when you fill it to the top what I would expect people to do water start colleting in the handle and then leaking out. Second the top is not secure enough it fall of when pooring.Customer Review: These people are morons

The LID never comes off! You have to adjust it so that it fits right in (Which takes a whole 2 seconds), but once you do, the filter works perfectly. Some of these people with the Lid problems must be borderline retarded.
No negative aspects about the filter. Thumbs up for me!

I have used a Brita filter water pitcher for many years, and I love it! The directions clearly state not to use hot water, and the filter snaps into place in order for the water to filter through properly. I love Brita water filtering items. If the water goes thru too fast when you fill it then the filter is not placed properly. Works great; there really isn't anything that can go wrong with it, like the faucet attach filters. It is much better for my dorm room's refridgerator than the 3 quart pitcher, because of the smaller size.
