There's not too much to say about these. I mean, they are very easy to insert into the water pitcher..just pop them in and they snap into place. The taste is great.
The only annoying thing (which is probably the case in most filters) is there are some black specks left over..also, you have to soak this filter in water for a little bit before you put it in the pitcher. But these are just part of life and required for most, if not all, filters.

Unlike them Pur filters, the Brita stuff works perfectly & their cartridges are standard across most of their filters. Saved us a lotta money over the years and Amazon is the place to buy them for the best price. Be sure to check which bundle gives you the best per-cartridge price before you buy though. Right now the 6-pack is cheaper than the single, 3, 4, 5 and 10 packs on a per-cartridge basis, for instance. No complaints whatsoever.Customer Review: Great filter!

I use these filters for my espresso machine water resovior. Brita does a 'good' job removing harmful scaling minerals, provided you change the filter often. I exchange filters in my pitcher every month, which is about twice as often as suggested by the manufacture. Obviously, performance degrades as the filter becomes saturated. I find this mode of operation cost effective and satisfactory. Plus the espresso taste great.

I am super happy with my Brita filter. I used the big pitcher for a while, and am now using the Slim pitcher, and they're both great. If I remember correctly, the cost of using these filters to their maximum capacity ends up being about 17 cents per gallon of water, and the taste is good! I'd rather buy Smart Water, but wages as a Starbucks employee just don't cut it for that level of water-buying for me. ;)

I love Brita filters (and the jugs) for the taste (or the lack of it) that it gives my tap water. I use it all the time and when I accidentally drank a glass of unfiltered tap water, I could taste the difference! These filters are such a great deal on Amazon and the only complaint I have is not knowing when to change the filter. Didn't the Brita filters use to have a dial that points out when to change to a new filter?
