Regular types of batter, like a box of Jiffy Corn Muffin mix, work great. But, when I tried to make a heavier type of batter(carrot muffins), the muffins did not cook all the way through before becoming too well done on the outside. Even so, I would still recommend this product for its simplicity and convenience.

I just used my new muffin maker for the first time this morning. It works just as well as described and already I see many mornings and dinners with muffins. It really could not be easier to work and where as you have to be careful with taking out the hot muffins, even that is a breeze with the non stick coating.Customer Review: Breville Muffin Magic

I absolutely love this muffin maker. I am not sure if they are available now. If not, it is sad! Clean up is so easy because nothing sticks. I purchased one for myself and loved it so well, I bought two more for gifts and three other family members purchased after seeing mine. I agree with other comments. This machine is amazing. Cute, convinient, small enough, quick and easy!
One recommendation: you may want to get a rubber spatula, which helps you get the muffins out of the machine between batchs, without effort, and won't scratch the non-stick surface. Super easy!

I have a two year-old "never full" boy. First thing he says in the morning "hungry--mommy--go to kitchen" I love this muffin Magic that I can make a hot muffin for my boy and me by the time I am done heating up his milk. He loves the bite size muffin and all the extra fruit i put on top.
