Over a 20 year period - this has been my 3rd juicer and this one is in a different league all together. Cleanup was the feature that was most important to me after experiencing those other juicers and this Breville JE95XL has not let me down. I've owned it about a month and juice 2-3 days a week with it.
Just like my other juicers it has that 'mesh' basket at the center of the juicing action. But before buying, I had read somewhere that the basket in this one was made of some material and in some fashion which did not result in the near-impossible pulp and debris removal from that mesh screen, which I had hated before. And sure enough - I don't know how they've accomplished it, but this basket brushes clean easily.
I can't speak yet for whether you'll get 5-10 years out of this model, but if easy-clean/simple-assembly is your thing - you could be really happy with this one.

When I looked at purchasing a juicer machine, I had no idea what to look for in such a machine. I based my purchase off of other reviews of this product and took a shot in the dark when I purchased this model.
I purchased this machine and after using it awhile think it is great. It is the perfect machine for people first starting out. The price is right and the machine is well built, sturdy, and easily chops up everything I put into it.
As for the criticism of extra cleaning. This is a juice machine, it is the nature of the beast to have a bit more clean up then some of the other appliances you own. This machine cleans up very well with a quick rinse and requires a little bit of scrubbing to clean out the screen/blade part. Not bad at all.
Again this is the perfect juicer for those of you who like me had no idea exactly of what to look for in a juicer.

I'm really happy with this purchase. I ordered this juicer Wed night, it got to my house on Friday that week. Amazon ROCKS!!! I started juicing right away. This machine has enough power to juice anything, I love the feel of quality, there are no leaks, and juice tastes soooo good. So far I figured out that mixing pineapple with anything makes a great juice. Also things that I never eat like celery, carrots, and beets are a pleasure to juice and they taste great, especially when mixed with fruits. I think this machine will go a long way to making me healthier. Lastly, clearning this machine is EASY! Only takes a few minutes. As long as you do it not too long after juicing all you have to do is run all the parts under some hot water. They even give a brush for the filter which works great. I'm very pleased overall and look forward to juicing every morning from now on, it's a great energy boost.Customer Review: Delicious juice AND quick clean-up!

I just drank the first glass of juice from my Breville juicer and it delivered everything the other reviews promised. The model I bought has two speeds so I used the "high" setting to juice carrots, apples, and ginger. I had this same combination over the holidays from my sister's Jack LaLanne juicer but the juice from my Breville supassed it my a mile! I juiced whole apples, just as advertised. Those who are unable to do this are probably buying very large apples. Very clean taste, thanks to the froth separator. The juice output was what I expected and the pulp was dry. The clean-up was a snap - the plastic rinsed clean under warm water and the nylon brush provided did a great job cleaning the mesh filter basket. This in contrast with the Jack La Lanne product that requires a separate tool to unscrew the the filter. The Breville is highly recommended!Customer Review: Not enough power

After using Breville's JEXL800 I thought that this juicer was going to be just as powerful, with its large chute for whole apples, four or more carrots, etc. I was unpleasantly surprised to find out that this juicer was unable to handle three average size organic carrots at the same time. The juicer slowed to a crawl, almost stopped until I removed one carrot, then very slowly pushed the other two through the chute. The apples and apple pears were handled without a problem, and don't even think of juicing grapes, spinach and parsley, it is a waste of precious time and food. Cleaning was a snap and reassembling was quite easy. If you don't mind juicing your carrots one carrot at a time,then this might be your juicer. I would not recommend this juicer to anyone who is not a beginner at juicing. The Breville JE95XL did not live up to its expectations.
