This is the most wonderful product and the best wok out of 4 that I have ever owned! It has a solid, detachable base, and the entire machine has a feeling of substance to it. No more worries about my wok tipping over on the burner, as this sits solidly on the countertop. Temperature control is a breeze, quick and responsive. Food is easily scooped up the side and out to my serving dish. The wok is easy to clean. I can find nothing negative to say about this product and would give it 10 stars if possible. We now have stir-fry several times a week.Customer Review: Detachable, washable wok!

This wok's greatest feature is the detachable bowl. It can be immersed in the sink for cleaning. The reassembly is a bit tricky--turn it upside down and align the base carefully before locking it in place.
As with all electronic heating devices, the heat is not constant. It alternately heats, then slightly cools, and then heats again. It does get *very* hot, as all of my wok cookbooks recommend. The bowl is heavy, helping it retain heat.
I've had no problems with the non-stick coating in these first few weeks.

I received this wok as a xmas gift. It is my first wok, so I have nothing to compare it to (other than the oversized skillet I was using to stir fry in before). So far I have loved the results. My meat is more tender and my vegetables are crisper. Very easy clean up since both the base and bowl can be completely submerged in water. The one negative that I've encountered is that I often have difficulty reattaching the bowl to the base. Is there some trick that I'm missing?? This reason alone is why it only merits four stars.Customer Review: very pleased

very well built, has the feel of quality the look of quality,and most important the results are of quality. the manual is well written,very easy to understand. i have use it to deep fry,slow cook,steam, and oh yes stir fry, stir fry, stir fry.the none stick cooking surface is among the best i have ever used.i would use bamboo tools not just to protect the surface, but to hear and feel the sound of bamboo clacking together.clean up is fast and easy. if you want to get away from the stove top woks this should be your first choice.Customer Review: More then what I expected.

When my husband wanted a wok, I was concerned that he was going to do the research and purchase. When we received the wok,(which delivery was quick)I was still skeptical until I used it. We have used it about every other night and it's absolutely awesome. The wok sear control mode is truly an understatement. It really sears your meat and it simmers your meals. The clean up is the best part. It comes apart with easy cleanup. If I was going to say anything negative would be finding space for it. Right no it sits on our counter.
