Customer Review: K-Cups are great, I like luxurious quality, but this thing has problems.

I bought this from a 3rd party seller on Amazon. And I question whether or not it was 'factory refubished'.
This is my first K-Cup brewer. It worked fine for a week or two. And it works 90% of the time. But, sometimes, when I hit "brew", it just sits there for it's cycle (a minute or two) and doesn't do anything. Then it goes back to "open head". I open it just enough for the sensor to sense that it's open, close, and repeat until it brews my darn cup of joe.
I found that a firm slap to the side of it will get it moving. Either the jolt frees up some sort of vacuum in the lines problem, or just gets the pump moving.
I'm not one to mess with warranties and blah blah blah. I'll use this thing till it dies. But it'd take a might impressive ad to get me to buy a Breville product again.
I've gotten used to this, as it's been a good six months now, and I (along with my employees) use it multiple times per day. But this brewer definately has issues. And I really can't recommend it to anyone. Regardless of how pretty it looks, do yourself a favor and buy the cheaper one. Definately not what I expected from the most expensive K-Cup brewer I could find.

My wife has been looking at this Breville single cup coffee maker for awhile at the Williams-Sanoma store. She hinted that it would be a very nice addition to the kitchen and she really liked the fresh brewed taste for every cup. So I decided to surprise her for Christmas. Big mistake waiting until the last minute as every single Williams-Sanoma store in New England as well as Amazon and other on-line outlets including the BrevilleUSA site were OUT OF STOCK. Well, I guess it was a popular hit with the general public, but I was undeterred. I kept calling and low and behold the two days after Christmas the Maine store received a shipment of 2. I guessI got luck as my persistence paid off. I gave it to my wife fro New Years eve and it was a huge success when our friends joined us in celebration. The Breville coffee was fantastic. However, I do have to agree with some other reviews which state that it has a bright white light emanating from the touch buttons below the blue LED screen. I understand how this could be annoying to some but it didn't seem to bother us or the guests as the coffee was GREAT. I would most certainly recommend this product and it seems that our guest will be looking for one very soon.Customer Review: Fabulous Coffee Maker!!

My adult children were kind enough to get me this coffee maker for Christmas. I love it!!
The stainless steel design is beautiful. I've wanted a one cup coffee maker for a while but didn't want to fork out the cash for one. So, Merry Christmas to me!!
Since I am a single woman, I'm usually throwing away a lot of coffee. This machine is perfect for me. It was a bit pricey, but compared to the coffee I would lose with my old drip machine, the price balances out.
It came with a sample coffee box. Some of them I liked, some I didn't. I see in a lot of the reviews about weak coffee. You have to try different ones to get the taste you like. Changing the cup size helps too.
I bought some K cups from amazon, by the way, the best prices...Coffee People seem to make the best product. Perfect cup all the time.
This machine has so many different features I still haven't figured them all out yet. Needless to say..I highly recommend this particular coffee maker.
Yes, it is a little pricey and yes you do have to sample a few different coffees to find the one for you..but it is WELL WORTH IT!! Thanks kids..best thing you ever got me!!!!
Customer Review: Stopped Working in Two Weeks

Although I was initially impressed with this product having owned two similar units manufactured by Keurig, it stopped working after only two weeks. I've ordered a replacement, but the failure of the product within two weeks of purchase doesn't speak well about its quality. The only two aspects of the product that I didn't like, in addition to its short lifespan, was the electrical plug is strangely designed and sticks out far from the wall, making it difficult to place the unit close to the outlet, and the design of the drip tray interferes with smoothly removing and reinstalling the water reservoir, one has to slide the reservoir sideways when removing or reinstalling it into the unit. Frankly, were I to do it all over again and based upon my past experiences, I would have purchased a unit directly from Keurig, which is comparably less expensive and much more reliable.
UPDATE: Amazon quickly and efficiently replaced the defective unit and so far, after two days, it appears to be working flawlessly. And, other than the inconvenient plug and design of the drip tray, I'm very happy with the way the unit functions and the quality of coffee brewed.

Ok, I am a huge huge Keurig fan, and my b60 SE has been kicking for 3 years now. Well, I happened into this unit and gave her a try.
I will compare it to my b60.
Pros:
1. Quieter than the b60
2. More cup sizes
3. Bigger water tank
4. Sleeker (stainless looks great).
5. The compartment that holds the personal coffee filter and scoop is awesome.
Cons:
1. For this price, its still a bit plasticy.
2. Seems to take longer to brew a cup, maybe 30 seconds longer.
3. The lights from the up/down arrows are toooo bright... wow, could definitely blind you for a few moments.
4. Price. This should be $179
Thats about it.. Honestly, I would go with the b60 again if I had to choose between two. You can get the b60 on amazon for a great price if you add it to your cart, then wait it out for a price drop.
