Customer Review: Love, love, love it!

This water kettle is a dream. It boils water very quickly. It shuts down as soon as the water has reached a boil. The kettle, itself, lifts off of a plate that contains the electronic gizmos. I have it on my desk at work and the automtic shut off and being able to remove it from the plate makes my life easy. I can take the kettle to the shared bottled water dispenser for filling and if I get distracted and set it on my desk, there are no repercussions. My only complaint is about the length of the cord. Because it is on my desk, the cord is really too short for where I use it: our electric do-dads are at floor level so I made due with a short extension cord. Works like a charm.
I purchased this water kettle in June as a lightening deal for approximately $30-ish. As much as I want another one, there is no way that I'll pay $169 for it.
