We've had this for almost 3 years and it is still working great. We use it daily. Usually 2 to 3 times per day. We got it mainly to replace the Hot Shot that we had, but never lasted long and had to be replaced often. We immediately noticed that the Braun heated the water to boiling, where as the Hot Shot got hot, but never reaching boiling. Also, the larger capacity made this a much more practical product, so it wasn't just for making tea anymore, I started using it a lot when cooking.Customer Review: Excellent product

I've owned this kettle for almost a year, and I have nothing but praise for it's designers and the manufacturer. Here is what I like specifically:
- good capacity
- fast heating (probably just as fast as it can be without blowing out the circuit breakers!)
- auto shutoff - works perfectly: not too soon, soon enough;
- no spills ever, very comfortable to handle;
- base design allows to extend the cord just as long as you need it, and it has convinient openings to route it through.
I have yet to find a single design flaw in this gadget...

I ordered this beautiful kettle (standard shipping) and it arrived in 4 or 5 days!
That was just the beginning of good things!
The water would boil so fast, and I enjoyed so many nights, with cups of green tea. Mmm so refreshing!
and plus the technology comes in handy too. you don't have to stand by the water kettle, waiting to turn it off when it boils. because, guess what? this cool water kettle turns off automatically when it boils!
isn't that great?
you'll get to love it too. I would buy this a hundred times and more.

I am really happy with this Electric Water Kettle. I am a big tea drinker, and I have tried other types of hot water makers, only to have them leak all over. This pot is fast and easy to use. It's very convenient, easy to fill, and the water actually boils, which is essential for good tea. The price of this was a bit more than some of the other brands, but it was well worth it!
I know we will use this even more in the winter time, for other hot drinks and soups. It's just so easy! If you're a tea person, this pot is definitely for you.

This is our second water kettle... our first one was alright, but was as durable. I really like this water kettle, its sturdy and holds about 3 travel mugs of water. It takes only 60 sec to boil one to 2 cups of water. Its great! We use it mutiple times a day!
Love it. I like the fact the heater element is in the middle of the kettle. I like the view of water on both sides and that is automatically shuts off. The water gets extremely hot when you let it boil completely, not drinkable. Love that fact too!
