After reading all these wonderfull reviews I ordered the Combimax.
I love to cook and I was really excited when it arrived.
But... (maybe it is my bad luck!) I was kinda dissapointed.
I really like the design and versatility, but my machine- especially when
I shredded on speeds higher than 4 showed unaccaptable vibration.
It even moved on my granite countertop and I was forced to hold it with one hand.
It is possible that it is "one copy" defect, but it obviously is unbalanced well enough.
So, after having nice "waiting" time I decided to return it back to Amazon.
I feel my review is like a drop of s-t into barrel with cristall water, but
I do not see it any different from what I described above.

We've started cooking more, so have been exploring new methods and tools. We bought this based on the reviews here, and have found the Braun K650 a very useful tool in the kitchen. It shines at vegetable prep, of course, and has had plenty of power for everything we've thrown at it, from shredding cabbage to chopping onions and carrots to making chicken liver pate. Ease of use is outstanding, as is cleanup. Thanks for the heads-up, previous reviewers.
A light touch-up with a fine sharpening stone (well, ceramic in this case) improves the performance of the blades noticeably.
Purchased the adjustable slicer and holder; nifty gadget and takes care of all slicing chores. The original slicing blade yielded a very thin slice.

I knew my wife needed a new food processor when I saw her drag out her 20 year old model. I researched food processors on Amazon and saw all the familiar names (Cusinart, etc). Then I came across the Braun and began reading the reviews. All reviews were very good and it sounded like a great piece of equipment. I bit the hook and bought it for Christmas, not knowing if my wife really wanted a new food processor. WOW! She loves it. It is everything advertised. Quiet, powerful, variable speed is great, easy to clean, great attachments, quality construction. large capacity. The only way they could improve this product would be to include a storage caddy for the attachments. Glad I picked this model and would recommend it to others.Customer Review: Great Food Processor!

About 25 years ago, my wife and I bought a Braun food processor. We used it for over 23 years, replacing the bowl once and the stalks that held the cutting disks about three times. We only gave it up when it started leaking oil. We replaced it with a Cuisinart that didn't have multiple speeds and did have a complicated and largely inscrutable lid locking system that ultimately failed--we needed to stick a screwdriver into the lid to make it work. So we found this Braun, which is similar to but an improvement on our old one, and it's great! Very lightweight, the bowl and lid simply snap into place, there's infinite speed control, and the cutting disks and stalks have been redesigned to be much sturdier. I love this food processor. So far I've made sponge cakes, sliced veggies, and cut french fries (I also ordered an adjustable disk attachment along with an adjustable slicing insert and adjustable french fry insert from an external source). It is so powerful it slices through an onion in about 3 seconds - no tears. It also chops on pulse mode to dice tomatoes and onions the perfect size for fresh salsa. The tomatoes don't end up crushed. The adjustable speed setting for different densities of veggies is wonderful. It rinses out quickly, with holes in the central post of the chopping blade so that water doesn't get trapped inside when cleaning. I should have bought this years ago!Even my husband is impressed.
