Customer Review: 400 watts is good - but 600 watts is better

This is the second of these products that i bought. Loved my first one I bought in Europe but it didn't work in the States so I bought my second one. The one from Europe is 600 Watts which gets the job done. And I prefer the stainless steel piece on the immersion tool but overall I use this for more things that I ever could have imagined... and recommend it highly over the other products like this. My husband bought the Braun Professional Hand Blender for himself; he loves to cook and the blender is his newest tool in the kitchen! He loves it and suggested we buy it for our daughter who is also a magificent cook - for her family AND her clients to whom she works as a personal chef. She, too, loves this product. We highly recommend the Braun Hand Blender!

I researched this product well before I ordered it and boy am I glad. I have used it now for the last month and absolutely love it. It blends and purees like a dream. I used to puree with a regular hand blender (what a mess) and then attempted with a food processor (another mess and time consuming). The Braun makes quick work of this and cleans up easily. the blender performs flawlessly. as a stick blender, it draws the soup down into the pot allowing the user to move it up and down without splatters. I'm all done with putting bowls and beaters into the freezer for whipped cream..just pour the cream,sugar and vanilla into the included container and it's one minute to stiff peaks. I am not sure what number mine is now. It is 280 watts and I have had it about a year or more and it is the best one I have had. It does not heat up and slow down after it is used for several seconds as other have, which I own. The Braun Hand Blender I own is still like new and I use it dayly. At 280 watts it is powerful enough to crush ice and keep going! I can hardly wait to try this 400 watt machine!
