Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Braun KSM2-BLK Aromatic Coffee Grinder, BlackCustomer Review: Let's see how this item pans out... Summary: 5 Stars
12-29-2005 Bought this grinder as a gift for mom for xmas.
I don't know if she has tried it yet. When it arrived I tested it by plugging it in and pressing the little grinder lever. It worked and has a nice little whizzz sound to the blades. It's small and looks cute on the kitchen counter by the coffee pot.
So, as of now my review is SO FAR SO GOOD...hopefully it stays this way. Keep an eye out for the update to this review.
Customer Review: The Best Coffee Grinder Made! Summary: 5 Stars
I have ground 6 tsps of a coffee a day everyday of the week for the past 8 years with a Black Braun Coffee Grinder. My father does the same thing but his 10 years old. The beans come quite even and is very easy to dump or pour into the coffee filter. The cord is very easily wrapped up - no need to unplug it like others (Krups). No maintenance is required just wipe the inside with a damp paper towel whenever you change flavors.
Customer Review: Perfect for the office Summary: 4 Stars
Some of us in the office prefer to not drink the office swill and chip in on higher quality coffee, which typically tastes best fresh ground. I bought this for the office, and it works great. We put the beans for the whole pot in and they are ground in 30 seconds or less (depending on who does the grinding!).
I also have and older Braun at home that I use from time to time to grind nuts and spices. Great little machines.
Customer Review: Works Perfectly Summary: 5 Stars
It's very fast. Very sturdy. Does a fantastic job. Makes my coffee taste delicious!
I keep mine in the cabinet beside the coffee because I hate stuff on the counter. With the shorter cord and convenient area to wrap the cord, it's so simple just to put it in the cabinet next to the filters.
I have not one gripe about this nifty little grinder. I can't imagine how it could or should be better.
Customer Review: V. Good Product Summary: 4 Stars
Everything about the grinder was exactly as advertised. The non-detachable blade and internal compartment are easily cleaned with a damp paper towel. The blade grinds the beans to a very good consistency for use in a percolator - not too fine, so that the grounds stay in the basket.
My only issue is how short the cord is. It makes it hard to turn the grinder upside down to shake out the grinds.
