Customer Review: Great coffee maker, not a gaudy behemoth

The Braun KF580 is a wonderful ooffeemaker. It has an automatic shutoff mechanicism that allows shutoff at any time between 20 miuntes and 2 hours. It has a "fill gauge" that enables the exact amount of water. Every part can be cleaned. It makes great coffee, has a streamlined design, and is relatively small and compact--not like the gaudy behemoths that recently have come out.Customer Review: Braun always pleases us !!

We have had 2 Braun coffeemakers before this, and this was to replace our last one which died of old age. It took a bit of getting used to the slim design - but we love it !! Love the fact that the coffee basket locks in, since it came to 'swing out' on our last one towards the end of it's life. I've had a Braun Coffeemaker for years so when it was time to buy another one, I researched the different brands and decided to stick with Braun. It makes really good coffee and I like the gold mesh filter that comes with it. No paper filters. It's easy to use and the pot has a nice non-slip handle. I like coffee and I like the Braun Coffeemaker.Customer Review: I was disappointed.

I was not satisfied with the quality of the Braun. I've been a devout Braun user for 25 years.
When the box arrived with 2 purchased Braun coffee makers the carton was wet and had soaked through to the product boxes.
I wish I could return them and find two Brauns of an earlier model manufactured in the 1990's.

My old Braun finally broke down after 15 yrs. so I bought a Mr. Coffee to replace it. It really wasn't the same taste. I then went back to Braun. They look the same, but the difference is amazing. I thought it was just hot water over crushed beans. I guess not. But, go with this Braun. You won't be unhappy.
