We wanted to replace our coffeemaker with the same model but were unable to find Braun carried anywhere in stores in our area. We were delighted to be able to obtain one from a vendor through Amazon. This coffeemaker is reasonably priced, holds up well to twice daily use and is without all the bells and whistles we find unecessary. It simply brews flavorful coffee! We were tempted to buy two as another reviewer stated that Braun is no longer available in the United States - that anything still for sale now is the last we'll see - I hope not!!!Customer Review: Good value for the money

I needed a new coffeemaker but I didn't want to pay for a bunch of digital bells and whistles that I wouldn't use. I just wanted a good value. I am pleased with this coffeemaker, it does a good job and it is also a lot smaller than many of the other models. It is a very simple, basic coffeemaker, put in the grinds and water, and press the big On/Off switch and get a good cup of coffee. I would recommend this product. I couldn't find this product in Walmart or KMart or any of the other Big-Box stores so I ordered it from Amazon.Customer Review: Braun KF510 coffeemaker

I purchased this coffeemaker as I have wanted a Braun coffeemaker due to
my experience with their coffeemakers I have had, they really last.
This coffeemaker makes great tasting very hot coffee, and very quickly.
This coffeemaker has a built in water filter, however I use filtered water
from my refrigerator which works best for my use.
I personally like this no nonsense coffeemaker without the bells and whistles.
I would highly recommend this product as I am very pleased with it.

This Braun coffee maker was a success for my 90 year old grandmother. She needed a simple coffee maker that made good, hot coffee and this product fit the bill. The large "on" button at the bottom of this pot is easy to see and press. The lid flips up easily with a nice wide opening for water. After helping grandma set up her coffee maker, I liked the simplicity so much I bought one for myself. Both coffee makers are still going strong after 3 years of heavy daily use. Yes this coffee maker is ONLY ok!!!!!! We have only had this machine a few months. We do use it every day. Two things with this coffee maker, first the carafe spills when you pour, took us a few pots to figure out that you have to lift the lid to pour. Second the door for the filter keeps swinging open mid brew, so finally we had to tape it closed when coffee is dripping. Ridiculous!!!!! I am now looking for a new machine would never buy this brand again, it's a big pain.
