We needed a smaller sized second coffee maker because my wife likes flavored coffee and I don't. The Braun was the perfect choice. The 10 cup size fits nicely on our counter top and is well made. The swing out coffee basket is easy to use and the carafe is easy to wash. The water reservoir has an easy to read float window. A very easy coffee maker to use and, by the way, it also makes great coffee!Customer Review: It Drips......

I bought this coffemaker to replace the Braun that I currently use. I wanted a Black coffemaker and I was happy with the Braun brand. I do not like how the carafe pours, seems it always spills. I also have to get used to the way the water tower opens, it's backwards in comparison to the one I already owned. Over all, I prefer the older Flavor Select. But this one looks FABULOUS on my counter.Customer Review: convenient to clean

The best thing about this is that the coffee filter thing lifts easily out with zero hassle. The coffee pot itself has a nice rubberized handle for easy grip. Someone says the pot drips but that has never happened once with me. I'm not totally sold on the use of a water filter that has to be replaced every month. Still too soon to tell if that's just a waste of dollars to buy the filters.Customer Review: Excellent coffee maker

The Braun coffee maker was recommended by America's Test Kitchen which we often rely on for this type purchase. It is an excellent coffee maker for this price range. No bells or whistles, just makes great coffee and is a well thought out design for easy use. I consider this coffee pot to be near perfect. It has no "auto turn on" feature, but i never use that anyway. The only thing that takes getting used to is the way the filter holder thing opens, but it soon becomes habit.
My favorite feature has to be the water filter. It really improves the coffee flavor. It's also compact. I gained a little more counter space.
