My birds liked this toy, however yesterday my bird got his foot wrapped around the string after they had chewed away the wood. Luckily we were home and cut it off him. The rope under the wood is not twisted or woven it is just a bunch of strings. I have two Senegal parrots and it did not take them long to chew off two of the wood pieces.
