The product itself is fine and works great. However, coffee snobs greatly overstate the difference between normal drip coffee and coffee from a french press. My press has been making coffee for nearly a year. Great coffee. Solid construction. This rating is for the product, not the shipping or packaging. Albeit the shipping and packaging were fine, too. Got one for Xmas in 2009, glass lasted till April 2010. Now, less than a year later, glass broke again. Both times glass broke during a regular wash in dishwasher just as instructed. One of the reasons for my order was the chance to get the cups. However, everyone was promising broken pieces rather than the whole items. Not true for me. There were air bags and bubble wraps around the glasses in my package and everything has arrived intact.Customer Review: Classy french press

Great looking french press. Works like a champ but my first press cracked when I used it. Amazon replaced it without a problem, the second press works fine. The thermal glasses are great. I wish I had more of them. I would buy this without hesitation.
