This makes an excellent cup of Joe! It's a perfect size for one person. Very easy and quick to use. In a few of the past reviews, it mentioned that the glass was too thin... it seems fine to me but there is a warning not to add boiling water so as long as your water isn't too hot, I don't really forsee it being a problem. This is a quality french press. I have owned several, the last one being a starbuck's 8 cup. This is 10 times the press that that Starbuck's one was. Having the strainer parts come apart makes for much easier cleaning than one that is one piece. I will never own another french press that doesn't come apart to clean. If you have never had french press coffee, you must make the transition. If you have, then this is the best press to buy. I initially bought one from Ikea and it broke, and actually, I am buying another one of these because it broke last week (it was my fault). Be careful with the glass, I barely hit the sink with it and it cracked immediately.Customer Review: Makes great coffee, Amazon's description is wrong.

Great little press, easy to use, just be careful NOT to bang the beaker, my cracked and I had to buy the replacement. The Amazon description for the ounces is wrong, it is 17 oz. This thing is great. I enjoy strong coffee and this press fills the bill. It's my first time using anything like this, and now, I'm spoiled. It says you should use coarse ground coffee but I found if you just use steady, light, pressure it works fine with our fine grind local offering.
Clean up is not that bad either.
