Customer Review: They measure cups differently than I do

This is a probably fine product - for a 2 cup coffee press (I ordered the 4 cup). I can't think of any decent reason other than advertising to misrepresent the size of this item. True - it may make 4 - 4 oz cups of coffee, but at that point you are no longer using any sort of standard meaning for the word cup, and you might as well assign it any number of cups which suits your fancy. I'll be exchanging my 17 cup press for one of a more suitable size.Customer Review: All Star Product

A product that truely lives up to billing and belongs in the hall of fame. Just got mine about a week ago and life has not been the same. Coffee grounds previously used in a drip machine and tasted bland now burst with flavor. The difference was immediately noticeable. Just be certain to use coarsely grounded coffee. And yes, cleaning is simple - easier than a drip machine: just pour used grounds into the sink and dishwasher or handwash the press.Customer Review: Quality product and excellent gift

I purchased this coffee press as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and he loves it! It's compact and attractive, so it's perfect to display in our small kitchen. The manufacturer recommends fresh, coarsely ground coffee for best results but pre-ground coffee has worked just fine. The plastic coffee scoop (included) works well to stir before pressing, since a metal spoon can shatter the glass. Beware of the second cup, it will be STRONG.Customer Review: It was a Hit!

Purchased this coffee press for my 91 year old father-in-law who had just had his first "pressed" cup of coffee in England, visiting family. Bought if for him for Father's Day and it was a tremendous hit. I tried the coffee as well, as I had not had "pressed" coffee before, and this coffee press was easy, made a great cup of coffee, was very reasonably priced, and now my mother in law is collecting the grounds for her garden.Customer Review: great coffee in a small pot

Press pots make great tasting coffee. I love this little press pot that makes up to 3 cups because I'm a 2-cupper person. There's space for pressing that I didn't have in a previous 2-cup pot. It's important to allow enough space at the top so that coffee doesn't spill out. The only flaw is that the stainless steel holder rusts on the carafe unless the carafe is removed and all pieces wiped dry before using again.
