Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Bodum Chambord 3 cup French Press Coffee Maker, 12 oz., ChromeCustomer Review: beautifully made and very functional Summary: 5 Stars
This is a very nice coffee press. The filter part fits snugly enough that coffee grounds don't get past it when you pour. It is beautifully made. There is one little problem. It is called a 3 cup press. It is only a 3 cup press if your cups are 4oz. A standard small coffee cup is 12oz leaving plenty of room for milk. It is quite small. If you have a guest or have a large coffee cup you have to press it twice.
Customer Review: Great Coffee! Summary: 5 Stars
Great cup of coffee! French Press is best way to make coffee. This makes what I call a European sized coffee, only about 1 cup, maybe a small 1 1/2 cup of coffee. This is fine, my fiance' and I are trying to drink less coffee, one of these is good for 2 of us with some soy milk. Highly recommend the product. Be careful though, the glass carafe breaks easily. Good news is it's only $8 to replace it thru Amazon.Com.
Customer Review: Bodem 3 cup coffee press Summary: 3 Stars
Generally happy with this, but what could wrong with something so simple? Generally looks to be of fine quality and looks stylish on the counter top. So why did i give only three stars? I wanted something that would make three cups of coffee. It's in the name! In reality it barley makes one. What definition of 'cup' are they using? Anyway for now I will continue to make my guests coffee, one cup at a time :(
Customer Review: Great little coffee maker Summary: 5 Stars
I bought one of these babies for my dad after watching a special on the History channel about coffee, and every single expert recommended a french press, which makes the "best" cup of coffee. This statement is very true, the coffee tastes so much better than that of a drip machine. It is a bit more of a hassle than a drip machine, but the effort is well worth it. turns out I use this thing more than my dad!
Customer Review: Best cupof coffee available Summary: 5 Stars
I love this pot! I had heard for years that a press pot was the best way to brew coffee, but hadn't tried it. I bought this one and am amazded at the difference it can make. This makes a fantastic mug of coffee, there may be a few grounds but I haven't noticed more than a couple, except for the time I put the screen back together the wrong way.Now I just need to buy a bigger one for family functions!
