This tea infuser is simple and effective. You put the infuser inside the double walled cup. Put in loose tea leaves then, pour in hot water. In about 3-4 minutes, perfectly infused tea. Take out the infuser cup and toss the loose leaves away. Simple and easy. It is a much neater than little tea mesh ball infusers. Its perfect for one person. It is also great for making iced tea. Make the tea, then remover infuse cup with the loose leaves. Sweeten if desired then pour in a large glass filled with ice. Perfect. The double walled cup also keeps tea hot as well as protecting your hands from burning hot tea. Really great product.Customer Review: Could be better designed

I prefer clear glass cups for my tea for the aesthetic value and because they don't stain. The tea cup I am currently using is manufactured by Bodum and I am quite pleased with it.
This cup is too small for drinking tea while sitting at my desk - I'd have to refill it every 1/2 hour or so. It might be nice to use while I'm teaching but the lack of a lid will cause it to lose heat too quickly and the tea is likely to spill while walking to the classroom.
I think I shall use it as my backup cup and use my more expensive white teas that I can make in smaller amounts.

This fragile-looking device has numerous advantages over other tea-brewing methods. One, it's easy to see to see how dark it's getting. Two, the leaves get plenty of room to breathe. Three, it's easy to brew multiple cups with the same leaves. Four, the double-wall glass keeps the tea inside hot, while the outside remains cool.
Minor negatives: a bit on the small side, but as noted it's easy to re-brew. Several pieces to wash. Very fine leaf fragments will pass the filter -- not really a problem.

If you want one serving of tea, ease of use, a glass that isn't too hot to touch, no worries about tea stems leaking through the filters, and high build quality, then the Bodum Canteen 6-ounce Tea Infuser is for you. Flawless and simple, you can't get any better than this.
You simply pour the hot water into the glass filter, remove the filter, placing it on the provided lid/coaster, wait 5 minutes, and drink from the glass. This is a top-class product.

This Bodum tea infuser/cup/lid set is elegant and easy. You will love it -as would anyone for whom you buy it. We use it with a tea bag, bulk tea, or a coffee pod (like Senseo) to make one cup. The drink is hot - and the lid keeps it that way if you happen to get distracted - while the cup stays cool to the touch. All you need is some hot water!
