I have the white version of this little kettle. I bought it for its small size and for its good looks. It IS very attractive, BUT...the electric base unit has a very thick, short BLACK cord. Aesthetically, the cord should be white, not black, and it's far too fat for this graceful object. Practically, the cord is too heavy, stiff and short for the base unit, and tips it over when the kettle is not on it. I really love the look of the kettle and that I can heat a cup or two of water very quickly. I don't love the base unit at all.
