This product is exactly what I needed. It looks good and classy when I have guests, easy to clean and helps me mix anything with the tea. I put chamomile, natural mint and many other things and looks and tastes fresh. For those with an inclination to natural herbals, well this is your choice. I thought this would be more like the coffee press, which I really liked. This thing doesn't press the tea at all, since the rod doesn't go to the bottom. Taste of the tea is not nearly as good as when brewed by my previous method. Am trying to think up some other use for it, but so far no ideas. This tea press works, but it is cheaply made. The inner basket is plastic, as is the press mechanism. The lid is held on by 2 small plastic pieces and one of the pieces had already broken off during shipment to me. The tea press works fine if you are planning on serving a crowd. For one or two people, it simply doesn't work. You must add an enormous amount of tea for the press to work properly. I once had a smaller tea press, and I thought that was what I was purchasing here.Customer Review: Works Great.

It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Brews a good 3-4 cup batch of tea and the ability to stop the tea from brewing by pushing the press all the way down is pretty cool. It's small and compact so taking it on a trip is pretty easy. All around a great infuser.
