Customer Review: Decent, Not Great
Summary: 3 Stars
Pros: Nice Design, I actually like the wording on the clear plastic. It gives a very art deco feel. The plastic lid and mug feels of high quality and the lid is easy to use, i.e. very ergonomic in the way my lips falls on the lid. The size of the mug is more than enough.
Cons: Not Spill proof, just resistant. The flip lid is by no means tight. I tried to stir the mug, and even just twirling it and not flipping it upside down, the water can seep out of the flip lid. I can see it being a good commuter mug if you are holding in most of the time. Never put it into a bag. Not a very good insulation system either, but I do not drink sipping hot coffee/tea anyways so that is not a debilitating matter to me. Also I am kind of disappointed with some plastic fringes on the lid. Its not a problem as you can just tear it off, but I expected more from Bodum.
Conclusion: For the price it is a decent purchase. Overall, it fulfills my needs very well. Issues with the lid not being spill proof can be a problem.
