I used to sometimes forget my coffee and left it in the french press for 6-8 minutes and ruined the taste. This is a great product so you don't overbrew your coffee. It stores nicely on the plunger rod, but you may need to remove it to press down completely if you're making a small quantity.Customer Review: not worth your money
