I bought this product since I was intrigued by its beauty and function--it has not let me down. It is really a marvel to watch and it works exceptionally well. The coffee (or even tea) is piping hot (unlike my old drip coffee maker) and the design, down to the funnel holder, is clever. Even my engineer husband was impressed. All the good things being said are true, so I'll just try to add a little hint. If you're finding cleanup messy, and you compost, just take a paper towel, wipe the grounds out into your compost jar, and throw the towel in there too. That makes cleanup down from five minutes to one and makes it almost mess-free.
