Customer Review: Decent tamper, does the job

This tamper is the perfect size for my Delonghi EC702 espresso filter (is slightly smaller). The weight and construction makes tamping easy to maneuver and accomplish for a nice cup of espresso. The polished stainless material has been holding up well and I haven't noticed anything wrong or any smells associated with the material, despite it being manufactured in China. The acrylic top had some marks that I needed a scotch pad to clean, which resulted it parts of it getting scuffed, which is my only complaint. Hopefully this does not happen to others. Considering the cost of the tamper (around $14 when I purchased it), I'm very satisfied, as there was no way for me to justify spending >$50 on a brand name, top-end tamper.
