wow, believe me when I say this little thing will make your life much easier. Having mixed protein and casein with a plastic spoon and cup all my life, I had doubts about this product, especially the steel ball which looked gimmicky. But this blender bottle works great, mixes everything well in ten seconds or less. The trick though, is to put water or milk first, then the powder. Otherwise, the powder gets stuck on the bottom and you need to spend more time shaking the bottle. Contrary to some of the reviews, mixing is not loud. I've tried it on gatorade powder and other light drinks, and I haven't had any problems. Also, I had no leak issues yet during mixing, though I never tried carrying the bottle in a bag. The shake comes out very smooth, and this is a big deal when you've been drinking chunks of protein all your life, then trying to eat the leftover chunks on the plastic spoon. amazing how a little purchase makes life so much better!
