Customer Review: Under cabinet mounting bracket is garbage

Black and Decker had a perfectly fine mounting system with their previous SpaceMaker series. I don't know why they thought changing the mounting system was a good idea. The mounting bracket is cheaply made and ill fitting. I don't suppose that they considered that people installing this would have a wall behind the unit making it difficult to see the back clips and then you somehow have to get the front to lock in place without bending the two side clips when the problem is the least bit of pressure bends them to a point where you cannot mount it.Customer Review: No Tray/Pan!!?!!

How are they allowed to sell a toaster oven with only a rack, and not a pan?
I called Customer Service to see if it was an oversight, but no... they want you to spend an additional $25 for the pan that SHOULD come with it!
I told Akil in Customer Service that it's like selling boots without laces and he only laughed at me.
Only because it would cost me the same amount as a new pan to return the item am I keeping it. Grrrrr!
It's horrible when large companies sneak money out of your purse!

Should have listened to the other reviews before purchasing. How hard could it be to install? This was clearly designed in a foreign country that does not use toaster ovens or have kitchen cabinets... WOW, what a terrible installation. Ended up throwing out the installation hardware and drilling new holes in the bracket and installing with 2 1/2" wood screws. On the bright side, this little toaster oven works well and heats quickly (a little too quickly). A real disappointment after owning the original Black & Decker for 12 years.Customer Review: Space saver?

Toaster oven works fine but as a spacemaker you need to check measurements with where you wish to place the appliance before you purchase it as you may find you don't have the space needed. Product has a heavy duty plug that needs room between the appliance and the wall socket. Also need to have the minimum required space around the sides and back of the appliance as well as below to safely operate the appliance. This must be factored in to your measurements when deciding if the appliance will fit where you want to place it.Customer Review: smaller than original

This particular toaster oven is much smaller than the one that I am replacing. I am replacing a Black & Decker, so when I read "Traditional" I assumed it was the same one that I had. Hopefully this one will last as long as the one that I am replacing, which after 15 yrs has stopped "baking".
The toast feature on the new one is lacking. Any pieces that are not directly under the elements do not toast evenly.
The bake feature, however, works really well, and it has a timer, which is a plus, too.
