Very slow toasting times and timer doesn't shut off during light toast setting. This was purchased after returning a Black/Decker Model No. TRO392 which overheated and started smoking(Electrical wires were burning) during first toast cycle. Two defective new units seem to indicate that B&D needs to improve their quality control. Unfortunately after having B&D Toaster Ovens for years, I now will purchase a different brand.Customer Review: SAVE YOUR MONEY

I initially purchased this oven because it not only looked good, but could cook a frozen pizza. The first one only worked less than a month before it had to be exchanged. Now the 2nd one quit working--has a short inside--keep banging it a couple of times until it finishes cooking. Worse toaster oven I had ever purchased. It is not dependable. Very disappointed. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T BUY THIS ITEM.Customer Review: Don't buy this!

I have had this for a little over a year and have used it about once or twice a week since then. The heating pattern changes for no reason - one bagel comes out burnt, the other one barely warm. And now the heating element broke while toasting my son's breakfast! Had I not been looking closely, I wouldn't have seen the shards on his bagel. Save yourself some money and avoid a headache: don't buy this.Customer Review: Stay away from this toaster over

When i saw this in the store i figured it would be halfway decent being the brand it was. i was WRONG. this has to be the worst toaster over on the market, especially if you are heating something up. if i turn my knob just slightely, it will get so hot it burns whatever your cooking within 2 minutes. i dont know how this company put this crap item out. it belongs in the garbage.Customer Review: You get what you pay for...

I thought... because this was a Black & Decker, it was going to be good quality. Wrong!
It not only burns toast, it sets it on fire. The heating element actually began to break off (in the the form of flakes) and fall onto whatever I was toasting. It really isn't a bargain, you'll have to replace it within a year. If you can spend a few dollars more....pass this one up.
