When I purchased my first oven I was pleased. It did cook some minor things well. After about of 2 months it died. I did get a replacement, but replacement unit would not turn on. It was a brand new unit that was dead on arrival. Very disappointed. I paid $150 on piece of scrap metal. Thanks!Customer Review: Great Countertop Oven

This is a lot more than a toaster oven. You can cook just about anything that you would normally cook in your big old oven with no preheat time needed and in less time. Not as fast as a microwave, but the results are much better. Great oven and you're only limited to the size of the oven.Customer Review: Not bad - needs work

For warming it works pretty well and heats up fast. If you want it for more than occasional toasting (sliced bread) it does NOT do a good job. The top will be toasted fine, the bottom will be warm - very uneven toasting. Still gets 4 stars for the warming and fast cooking making!Customer Review: Best appliance we have in the house

We were able to get rid of the toaster, and toaster oven and even put the microwave in the garage to use for fast defrosting. Have baked it this oven grilled steaks, fish, chicken we love it even got one for my son last christmas. The black and Decker infrawave oven is not all that I had hoped for. It is not easy to clean and it does not cook food evenly. I think it is as good as a toaster oven but not spectacular as I had hoped : (
I agree that it needs a cookbook deperately.
