Customer Review: Works Great if you don't like juice

We had to replace our old Krups today because the bearings seemed to be failing after many years.
This item was a quick Target replacement for about $20.
This item works great, if you don't like juice. It scares the juice out of the orange more than it juices it.
1. It makes more noise than a Harley, no offense intended to Harleys, making a very unpleasant experience for the squeezer.
Is that a man thing or what? Why so ineffective and noisy? It's a juicer.
2. I was just getting over the noise, well not actually, but I was just hoping the machine was making our juice, when I realized that not much juice was going into the pot--the machine was making so much pulp residue in the top ring that I had to keep removing handfuls of pulp to keep squeezing more oranges, this is not my past experience with years of juice squeezing in my corner.
The juice is in that pulp--our older squeezer made some pulp, but it didn't leave this much of the orange un-squeezed. This Chainsaw of a juice squeezer leaves most of it's profit unrealized in wasted pulp. It churns the poor orange into pulp without extracting the juices, but wow, it does this damage so fast you think you have made some progress in your work. What a monster of a losing item.
The perfect modern item: it screws up every technological step forward mankind has made up til now.
I'd rather use an old fashioned dish and do all of the work myself than watch this electric monster waste over half of our oranges. What a shame.
This item is Class A THUMBS DOWN in my view, unless you just don't care about your juice or efficiency. If you like roaring motors and loud noises and fast decimation of citrus, and are willing to stop every few seconds and sweep out pulp flesh that should have been your juice, you will love this item. It will rally your aggressive and unproductive day.
Honestly, I love good tools, and this thing reminds me of what it should have been: one hell of a powerful Drill. Unfortunately, that makes for some terrible juice and wasted materials with citrus. Maybe this company should stick to what they do well--power tools. Juicers are a different animal--Black and Decker should have consulted some juice lovers or the public or cooks before they engineered this power tool failure.
Ya'll let me know if you have found better uses for this motor than juicing. It's a good motor, poorly purposed. For juice lovers that means: this is awful, try another juicer if you love juice.
