I bought a little green clean machine years ago, the last model that was made and is now discontinued, it worked great, loved it. I even cleaned my carpet with it - do not recommend - I was young, trying to save money, and did not realize how much work I caused myself. Other people loved it so much, they wanted to use it too, and tore it up. I miss it. I think it would still work today if I was the only user. I do not know why they discontinue a good product. I bought this handheld machine, following up on a great Bissell product, and again it worked great. It will only completely clean new spills, let them sit for a while and it won't come out. Don't know any product that will remove old stains completely. What I did not like about this product was that one of the fixings in the brush assembly came aloose after about 6 uses, it did not hamper the products ability to be used; then later one of the belts slipped off but did not break, and I had to put it back on. Maintenance of any product is a must. Again, I had teens and was trying to get them to learn how to use the product. I do not know how or did not see it possible, but they took it apart trying to fix something that fiddled temporarily, and the first time it actually worked, the second time they completely destroyed my product. I was muy mal. One of the best things about this is that there is the perfect amount of water for cleaning just 1 small or medium spill. The clean tank and the dump tank are close together. It is easy to change the water, dump and clean, no problem. You can leave the water in if you do not use it all, it does not get contaminated. It is small and can fit in a small corner. I was trying to save money by not buying another little green when I bought this product. Overall I would have to say if only mature users used this product A+. But if you let someone else use it that does not care, does not and refused to use it properly, say goodbye to your product. Expect to spend more money teaching others how to use simple machines properly. It lasted me about 2 years. I later saw that you can buy replacement parts, but replacements parts could not fix what was broken with much more misuse. Who's to say what will break or not. Also, I have not investigated fully the full use of the warranty. It takes time. It more than paid for itself with my cleaning up stains immediately for the two years. My carpet is still stained, because my teens only used it when they felt like it, and when they did--wham. Hope you can enjoy your product.

Bissell Spotlifter Powerbrush Handheld Deep Cleaner - the quickest way to clean spots and spillsTraditional vacuums handle dust and dirt, but some spots and stains call for more rigorous measures. The Bissell Spotlifter Powerbrush deep cleaner targets just such problems with powerful rotating brushes and a tank of cleaning solution. During operation, continuous suction ensures that surfaces don't get too wet and that dirt and stains are sucked up quickly and efficiently. The machine includes a manual spray trigger, so you can decide how much solution to use depending on the surface and the damage.
The Spotlifter is a fairly maneuverable appliance--about the same to handle as the average large hand vacuum. Filling and emptying the separate clean and dirty water tanks is notably simple--they just slide off the back end of the machine one at a time. The brush roll cartridge is also removable for easy upkeep or replacement of the brushes. The cleaner comes with an 8-ounce starter bottle of Little Green Cleaning Solution.
