Customer Review: it cooks, but don't break it! you'll be in trouble!

I have had mine for a year. But only used it about 8 times. My complaint is that the plastic pieces over time don't fit as well together. Almost like the heat from cooking distorts the plastic a little. I never put in dishwasher. Also, the knob just broke off mine. I Called Taylor to order a new one, since I am out of warranty. Thought they might be nice and just send one, but I would have bought one. Get this!....They do not make replacement knobs or any replacement parts! I would have to send in the whole unit to get the unit replaced. Understand the knob just slips on. so, screwwdriver has become my new knob! It cooks good, but does take longer than I thought it should. I can steam on my stove in these times. So not really a good buy.
