I am very happy with the results: It heats really quickly and evenly, is easy to clean. AMAZING! An aluminum core allows for quick even heating and the nonstick ceramic coating browns food beautifully. I am going back to the teflon coating pan anymore. But, as other buyer mentioned, there are 2 problems with it
1. the red plastic handles are completely unacceptable. The plastic portion is too close to the side of the pan and emits foul noxious odors when exposed to a gas flame. They are clearly not temperature stable or heat resistance. This is especially troubling for a product that is supposed to be 'eco-friendly'. I would wait until Bialetti redesigns these handles to be compatable with actual cooking conditions.
2. The nano-ceramic coating on the Aluminum is "nano" which is thinner than a paper.
