Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Bialetti 6799 Moka Express 3-Cup Stovetop Espresso MakerCustomer Review: Love it but wish I had bought the bigger one! Summary: 5 Stars
I love this product! I bought it for those nights when I want coffee for dessert but don't want to mess with the big coffee maker and it certainly satisfies my coffee craving. The coffee taste great and the product is so simple and easy to use. I did not expect my family to prefer the coffee from my little percolator so now I regret getting the small one. Since getting this I haven't been seen much at my local Starbucks.
Customer Review: More like a 2 cup, but still great! Summary: 4 Stars
I have had no problems with this espresso maker, other than it only makes 2 cups...not 3. It looks nice, cleans well, and I have used it almost 10 times without any problems.
PROS: Makes great espresso.
CONS: 2 cups, not 3.
SUMMARY: For the price, it is ok. It is not an amazing device for a great price. I would only recommend spending a little more money to get a larger espresso maker (3-5 cups).
Customer Review: Great size and fast Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this Espresso coffee maker to use with warm milk. It is great if you like to make lattes. Or just plain expressos. It brews fast, less than two minutes.
It makes a great Cuban coffee but make sure you use the coffee like Pilon or Bustelo that comes in pressed packets not the cans. I do not use Italian roast because I do not think it would give me the same flavor for my lattes.
Customer Review: Pot rusted- coffee tastes awful Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this product based on the rave reviews here. When I first got it, I enjoyed it but the water resovoir on the bottom 1/3 quickly started to corrode, brownish black discoloration, and seems to have rusted. The coffee tastes awful now, and I am probably going to throw it out.
Works great as a disposable product, but not for long term use.
IMO poor workmanship, I do not recommend.
Customer Review: Best Little Coffee Maker Summary: 5 Stars
The first one of these I had, I used for 25 years. I finally ended up letting it overheat on the stove, which doesn't seem to help the rubber gasket any. If you want really good espresso, this is the way to go. As long as I don't forget, and leave this one on the stove, it's probably the last one I'll need to buy in my lifetime. I'm using it every morning and thoroughly enjoying it. Carpe diem, et carpe Deo.
