These little pins do not stay in their intended spot. The fact that they pop out isn't so concerning during the daytime when you can see sharp objects before you step on them. However, at 3 a.m., when your room is dark and your feet likely bare and you accidentally step on one of these pins? The words that will come out of your mouth will not be pleasant. I do not believe the pins are safe and would have especially great concerns if I had young children in the home. Look for something different to keep that bed skirt where it needs to be--unless of course you are wanting to engage in some home-based acupuncture for your feet.
