I searched hard to find well made wood silverware trays but did not find any in the stores that I liked. Most of them are shabby construction and cheap wood. Some also have wood bottoms that are impractical because water settling in the base will deteriorate the wood. I am extremely happy with these silverware trays. They are beautifully made with nice wood and solid construction. There is no gap where the walls meet the base for water to leak out. And the melanine base tolerates water well. I highly recommend these trays.
