Customer Review: Bar Keeper Does Not Clean Range Top Stains

After reading the positive posts I initially thought this was the product that would finally rid us of our range top stains. I followed the directions as well as repeated several times leaving the product to dry for five minutes and still same old stubborn stains. I did use it on our stainless steel fridge and it did bring back some luster, so that was a good thing. Though, I can not rate this product as exceedingly positive as others have. Also, you just might save shipping costs by finding this product at your local hardware store for about the same price here.Customer Review: Good

I purchased this to clean a fiberglass shower. Does not work so well on that but works well on the sink and faucet. Would not use it on my new ceramic cooktop stove - I use Cerama Bryte on that and it works terrific. One good thing about this product - after I cleaned the faucet with it there seemed to be an invisible residue which caused water to bead up...lasts longer between cleanings.
Am adding to this review...works great on stainless steel pans to get the whitish deposits out and made my stainless teapot gleam.

I have read several reviews commenting on the odor. The liquid version does emit a slightly baking soda/metallic odor. The odor is perceivable but not overwhelming. If you think the odor will put you off, then go and get the powder version. Another reason I'd recommend the powder version over this one, the liquid tends to run off the spots where I most want concentrate my cleaning (curved lip of my frying pan) -- it's a whole lot easier to sprinkle the powder and create a paste that adheres to the stain.Customer Review: Stainless Steel Pot Lovers Dream Find!

When I purchased my set of Stainless Steel Pots, I was disappointed after cleaning them because they had lost that beautiful shine. I read some reviews from viewers that suggested using Barkeepers Friend to get that shine back, and the rest is HISTORY! No matter what I cook in them, I let them sit with a little Barkeepers Friend soaking in them for about 5 minutes, and when I clean them, they look like NEW, with no effort on my part. I almost did not buy it because someone said it did not work for a fiberglass shower door, but it does. I cleaned first with vinegar, it got the hard water stains off, but not the soap scum, so I bought this product at my local store. I used the pink color pad, and I put a layer of the product on the door then I wiped clean and rinsed. The shower doors looks new again, and you can see through it, now. It used to be totally opaque before the treatment.
