Trying to survive here, despite chemicals, pesticides, growth hormones, genetically engineered and modified seed, animals raised in the most un natural way, in inhumane, filthy, stressful and disgusting conditions and then dipped in dyes and chemicals to 'look' fresh at market, polluted waters, air, yada. All this to absolutely ensure our having to be treated with expensive medications, to stay alive.Which might alleviate a symptom or two, but do nothing to stop the progression of the disease or additional diseases caused by this toxic overload and deficient nutrition.
I just got one of the best weapons to use in my war against old age, dis -ease and infirmity. It is a Green Star, Twin gear, 2000 juicer.
I had a Champion for thirty years and sometimes a Norwalk, during that time...
The Norwalk disappeared during one of my moves, and the Champion just died.
I used to make the juice a gallon at a time, and add lemon as something of a preservative.
With our busy schedules, we don't have the time to eat all the greens needed, or to make all of the individual juices, that it would take to do us much good.
Never having to see a Doctor, or take any kind of medication, either prescribed or OTC in over thirty years, has been the reward.
The Green Star is one of the few affordable juicers that will produce a juice that might last a few days in the frig.
It was recommended, that canning jars with seals be purchased, and the juice stored in 8 Oz portions.
So I bought these Jarden Home Brands #60000 Ball 12PK 1/2PT Mason jars
They really have been a life saver. No pun intended.
They are easy to fill, store and use. I was afraid of the rims rusting, but I wash the jar and tops, and place them on a rack to dry,
and so far in several months, not a sign of rust.
The juice is in perfect portions in the frig, ready at a moment's notice to be used in just the right amount at a time.
I don't even have to use lemon in them, as I once had to do. The juice comes out fresh, just as it is, two days later.
The juicer and jars are a perfect team.
It was such a pleasure to be able to order them through Amazon, and with one click have them appear at my door, and at a price that was even lower
than Wal-Mart's. The gas and time to go get them, not even factored in.
The vendor was professional, in letting me know the progress of the jars, and they even followed up to see if i received them in good condition, and was happy with my purchase.
I have no complaints at all... just the opposite !!!
This is a five star product and sale !
