Customer Review: Best cooling racks I've used

I've really liked these cooling racks. They're nice and big, so you can fit a lot onto them. And they're easy to clean. I've never had an issue with food sticking to them (though, admittedly, I tend to clean cookware as soon as I'm done using it, so your experience may vary). The grating is fine enough that things don't really droop or fall through, while still cooling.
The size might be a disadvantage, if you don't have much storage space in your kitchen. They fit fine just sitting in one of my baking pans, though. Which also makes them useful for some cooking. (If you put bacon on the rack, then put a pan beneath to catch the drippings, and put it all in the oven, it comes out delicious, and there's not much mess.)

I purchased the racks 9 June 2008 and all was great.
Wonderful...for the first few months
Now even though I hand wash and dry these they are rusted at all of the grid's cross points.
I've tried contacting Baker's Edge CS to no avail.
I'm returning to my tried and true: Wilton ( I have Wilton cake pans that are almost 30 years old and still going strong)
So, use our experiences and buy another set of cooling racks*
* BTW, these work well for their intended purpose but I prefer my foods sans rust

I am so glad I got these! I bought a second set right away. I find them so useful for the baking/cooking I do. Cookies and bread both are helped in cooling and come to a good texture after cooling on these racks. They are useful to bake various flat breads in the oven. Frozen pizza gets a nice crispy crust by cooking in a hot oven on this rack (just place a cookie sheet pan under this rack). They are also useful as trivets for large casserole or lasagna pans brought from the oven straight to the table for serving. Rugged enough for daily use. Easy to clean non-stick coating (don't use scouring pads on these). I highly recommend this product.Customer Review: PERFECT 2 PIECE SET, ONE FOR PAN, ONE TO COOL COOKIES!

This is the perfect set of cooling racks for the following reasons:
1) Items do not fall between the slats like the cheapie kinds. This is the main reason that I bought these.
2) The second reason that I bought this set is because when you cool cookies, you can set the baking sheet to cool on one rack and then take the cookies out and set on the second rack.
3)This set is just the right size for cookies, cakes, souffles, or any casseroles!
4) This very well constructed set of cooling racks is the best set of cooling racks that I ever owned and I will use them for many years to come. Great buy!
Customer Review: Great for cooking bacon in the oven

I wanted to try Alton Brown's method of cooking bacon in the oven but my regular racks let the strips fall through into the grease. The grid on these is perfect. It does take some work to clean the rack and pan afterwards. I turn the rack upside down in the pan, add hot water and soap, and let both the pan and the rack soak. Then it's much easier to scrub them both clean. The bacon is delicious this way and you never get popped by it. I was a little worried when it said not to cook on the racks but it has worked out just fine so far.
