Very bad product! Poorly constructed, my first was replaced, but second was no better.
Hot bacon grease melts the plastic in the bottom bowl, must also soften the plastic handle as from the weight of the bacon, thought the top portion was going to completely fold over from the heated softened plastic.
Also doesn't cook evenly. Noticed that the top of the bacon, where it hangs over the top racks, cooks much faster than the bottom that hangs down towards the bowel. Possibly because the grease is flowing down the bacon?
But after cooking have had bacon up at the top, nearly black, and at the bottom barely cooked.
And any pieces of bacon that are touching when cooking, will melt together at that point. Even a single slice hung over the top rack will cook/melt together where the ends touch as they hang down. So you have to break the bacon apart at the top, just to get it off the top racks
Google microwave bacon cooking, and sites there will tell you that you don't need any fancy gadget to cook bacon in the microwave. A microwave safe plate, and some paper towels.
I found that information too late.
