I like the fact that it included diff sized containers, and 2 of those were tumblers with handles to boot. I have read reviews where people have burned out their motors, and I will have to say that, yes, it's possible, but only if you didn't follow the directions. The manual indicated a recommended time of usage so you should be patient, expect to shake things up once in a while between blends, and this unit should last you at least a year :D I think some people have the wrong expectation that you can just turn on the switch and leave the unit alone to do it's thang. Gee, if that was the case, I'd let my car drive me on auto pilot.Customer Review: This blender beats them all.

I used to have the most popular small blender(you probably know what one I am talking about (it is a "seen on TV" product) Anyway after that one wore out after about 6 months I tried this one. I LOVE IT!! The cups are much better quality and you can pulse it or turn it off and on on the unit itself, which I like. LOVE IT!!!Customer Review: Wonderful!

I have had the same base for over three years and use it at least 5 times per week! Usually I put one cup of milk, one cup frozen berries, some chopped ice and finish it off with water! With a few pulses the smoothie is ready and I drink it during my 10 minute drive to work. It cleans easily, too!Customer Review: Back to Basic blender
