I ordered this blender cause I had a large blender smoothie maker from back to basics and it was wonderful. I use this for my morning protien shakes, and it is wonderful. I love it. When your done making your shake, just flip it over and now its your cup. Love, love, love it. It works very well at chopping ice, too. This machine is OK, as long as you don't need it for something hard to blend (e.g: Ice cubes). The blades are not very sharp, and the size is smaller than what I expected. You can't rely on it to grind effectively, but it's still good in making juices and mixes.
If you seek something 'basic', this blender should be your choice.

.. this items was poorly designed. it barely chops or cuts anything due to the fact the blades are at least 1" from the sides of the container so food items get lodged in the side area and do not get chopped. also it is quite loud and clunky as well as the 'on'- 'off' switch being difficult use. i would not recommend it.Customer Review: Perfect for the price! =)

Ive only had this for a few days but have used it a few times so far... I love it! I put in frozen fruit, a banana, and some juice and blend it! it works exactly as i thought and for such a good price im very happy! i also dont think its too noisy either. Some people will complain about anythinggg and everythinnng!!Customer Review: wow

so i got this for my bday and decided to make an apple orange smoothie. cut up 2 oranges and an apple, put it in with a few cubes of ice. about an inch space in it. the thing started smoking and blew out. tried plugging it in and starting it again, nope. not recommended, buy a magic bullet or something.
