Customer Review: Great Little Whipper-Upper!

I'd been on the fence about buying this. I had my eye on the much more spendy Nespresso Aeroccino which everyone seems to love, but just couldn't bring myself to spend the money for it. I happened to pick this item up on clearance at Target and I have to say I absolutely love this little guy!
I had heard these little frothers were only good for frothing nonfat milk, but that turned out to be false. I put in equal amounts of non-fat milk and half-and-half and then whipped it until double the volume (took maybe 15 to 20 seconds at the most)). It created a fantastically rich creamy foam which I then nuked in the microwave to heat it up before adding it to my espresso. It really wasn't appreciably different from the steamed milk/froth I get at the coffee shop from the pros.
In all, I am very pleased with this purchase. I admit I will probably still stop now and then and pick up a 'professional' cappucino, but I am also looking forward to impressing the hell out of guests at my house by making them a capuccino or a latte 'from scratch'.
