Customer Review: Arrived Broken, Twice!

Like the previous reviewer, my bowls arrived smashed to bits. The packaging for the bowls is laughable -- they come nested together with no protection, and are placed in a box that is too small for them. I returned the first set and asked for a replacement, which also arrived broken. Now I'm returning the second set for a refund. At least amazon makes returns very easy!
The bowls look nice, but they aren't worth ordering. Too bad.

This 2 Piece rectangular bowls set is a great addition to your kitchen bowls. You can serve appetizers, fruit salads or just use them to mix up your favorite snack. The rectangle shape gives it a nice modern look to an already classic piece.The Nouveau collection from BIA Cordon Bleu features square and rectangular serving pieces in a contemporary, Asian-inspired tone, complemented by rounded serving items such as cake plates and a soup tureen. Made of glossy vitrified porcelain, the all-white pieces handsomely showcase any type of cuisine and mix in easily with colored or patterned dinnerware.
This set features two serving bowls, both crisply rectangular on top but softened by sides that curve down to the flat base. One is twice as large as the other, so that the two nicely serve complementary foods and stack for storage. Use the larger, 2-quart (8-cup) bowl for a salad, the smaller, 1-quart (4-cup) bowl for serving steamed broccoli or rice. Or, fill the bowls with chips and pretzels for game watching on TV.
