I had a black and decker years ago and loved it, but have had trouble finding another to replace mine after I dropped it. This one I have only used once, but it has awesome power and I never even took it off the lowest speed to do all my mixing.Customer Review: Cheaply made

Beaters stopped turning because the aluminum drive wore down the cheap plastic gears (a $1 part), preventing the beaters from turning. Cheap plastic gears turned by a metal drive is poor engineering!!
