Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Avanti Mini Convection Rotisserie System StnlsCustomer Review: horrible quality !! Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this oven becuse of the huge size for bakeing pans. I couldn't find any instore oven with this size. When I tried the baking part of the oven I notice only one heating bar work and the other didn't get red hot. I was disappointed the oven came defective and also the oven door was warped not geting a great seal. I keept the oven despite of all the defective issues it had because I hate wasting my time returning things back. I compromise turning the heat nob full blast which still took about 5-10 minutes longer than my older oven that broke. Thirteen months later the oven stop working and the red light didn't even come on. I should of invested the money into a regular stove or return the defective product when I had the chance. This prduct was so cheap and defective becuse it was made in China. Don't wast your money on this product !
Customer Review: Avanti Extra Large Toaster Oven Summary: 2 Stars
I purchased this item in May and was hoping that it would be a suitable replacement for a full sized oven. In one respect it was. The interior is large and will hold a 13 lb. turkey or large chicken or Ham. But I was very displeased to find out one of the lower heating elements would not heat sufficiently to allow for even baking and the temperature in bake mode does not even reach 300 degrees. When I use the Broil mode the highest temperature I've been able to attain is only 325 degrees. Clearly you have limited baking and broiling options at these temperature levels.
Call me very disappointed with this product. I will be buying something else to replace this unit and it won't be another Avanti.
Customer Review: Great Design & Look BUT one problem ... Summary: 4 Stars
we bought it because we liked the styling (it looks very european) (whatever that truly means) - it looks industrial and not cutesy. we liked this. avanti isn't a big known brand. we knew that. it was on sale for $100 which was a fab deal. works great. but one big problem - it does not heat above 350 degrees. we suspected this and bought a good gauge which says it gets up to 350 but no more. actually i would say not even 350 but closer to 340 ... that's it. we're going to keep it though. oh well. i subscribe to the belief that in this world, if i seek perfection, i will be disappointed.
